干支R展が無事終了しました。
ご高覧いただいた方々、ありがとうございました。
今回の作品は、「動物園のトラが自分の故郷（インド）に帰る」というストーリーを作品にしました。トラが動物園から飛び出ている絵から始まって、ギャリーの巾木の上をトラが歩いていきます。トラの絵のシールを作って、ペタペタ貼りました。
トラがお客様を誘導して、トラに連れられて展覧会を見て回るような仕掛けになっています。
最後に「トラが故郷に帰って、まったりする」と言うオチで終わります。
去年の12月から構想を練って、製作してきました。
しかし、この展覧会の4日前、2022年1月5日 栃木 那須サファリパークで、飼育員が虎に襲われ、ケガを負う事故がありました。
僕の作品は、トラが動物園から逃げ出す作品なので、お客様はどうしても那須サファリパークの事を連想してしまいます。作品は、すでに完成していて、他の作品を作る時間もありませんでした。
迷った末、
・那須サファリパークの事故を受けて制作したのではないこと
・揶揄する意図はないこと
をお断りとして掲示し、展示する事にしました。
幸い、気分を害された方は、僕の知る限りはいらっしゃいませんでした。
全くの偶然ですが、こんなタイミングでこんな事が起きるのか！と驚いた一件でした。
The other day,Zodiac R exhibition has finished. Thank you to everyone who visited us.
This work is based on the story of that the tiger go to his home (India). Starting with a picture of a tiger jumping out of the zoo, the tiger walks over Garry’s baseboard. I made a picture of a tiger with a sticker and stuck it on it.
The tiger taken the guests to look around the exhibition.
At the end, the tiger go to his hometown and relaxes.
In Japan keepers were attacked by a tiger and injured in Japanese zoo.This incident became big news. How it is 4 days before this exhibition.
My works are works in which a tiger escapes from the zoo.
I was scared to think that I was making a fool of the accident.
So I posted my honest feelings.
Fortunately, no one seemed uncomfortable.
It’s just a coincidence, but will this happen at this timing? It was a surprised case.
