【作品紹介】鳥渕牧場の牛たち

[Work introduction] Cows at Toribuchi Farm

京都丹波町の酪農の牧場、鳥渕牧場さんの依頼でイラストを制作しました。
足掛け１年くらいかけて、色々と描かせていただきました。

I created an illustration at the request of Toribuchi Farm, a dairy farm in Tanba-cho, Kyoto.
I spent about a year drawing various things.

宮本三郎デッサン展に出展した作品です。新聞をコラージュをしたり、クレヨンを使ったり、色々な描き方をしています。滅茶苦茶楽しい制作でした。
デッサン展は残念ながら選外でした。

This work was exhibited at the Saburo Miyamoto drawing exhibition. I draw in various ways, such as making collages out of newspapers and using crayons. It was a super fun production.
Unfortunately, the drawing exhibition was not selected.

僕は、動物が美味しそうに餌を食べる様子を見るのが好きです。牛たちは、本当によく食べます。
スケッチに行くと、たいがい餌を食べています。その様子を絵にしました。

I like watching animals eat food so deliciously. Cows eat really well.
When I go to sketch, they are usually feeding. I drew a picture of that situation.

牧場で牛を見ていると、１頭１頭個性があって、顔つきも違います。特に、ホルスタインは１頭１頭模様が違うので、なおさら個性的です。

そんな、牛の個性を描きたくて描いた作品です。

When you look at the cows on the farm, each one has its own personality, and each one has a different facial appearance. In particular, each Holstein has a different pattern, making them all the more unique.

This is a work I drew because I wanted to depict the individuality of cows.

スケッチに行くと、牛たちはたいがい寝るか食べるかしていますが、たまに歩いたり、走ったりする姿が見れます。

重たい体で、のっしのっし進む姿が、可愛くて絵にしました。

上の作品では、朝（上）、昼（中）、夕方（下）の１日、牛が行進する様子を描きました。

When I go to sketch, the cows are usually sleeping or eating, but occasionally I can see them walking or running.

I made a picture of her moving forward with her heavy body because it was so cute.

The above work depicts cows marching throughout the day: morning (top), afternoon (middle), and evening (bottom).

仔牛は立つ時に、お尻から立つ独特の立ち方をします。一生懸命力を振り絞って立つ姿が、とても印象的だったので、描いてみました。

今、酪農家さんはどこも大変だと聞きます。
この大変な時期をどうにか踏ん張って欲しいと言う、願いを込めて制作しました。

When calves stand, they have a unique way of standing from their rear. I thought it was very impressive to see him standing with all his strength, so I drew him.

I hear that dairy farmers everywhere are having a tough time right now.
I created it with the hope that you can somehow hold on during this difficult time.
